It was my birthday yesterday! I went to London Zoo for the day. Despite it being blazingly hot for the UK I had a lovely day. I saw some baby Asian Short-Claw otters – they were very active when I visited. I’ve shared some photos I took yesterday over on Discord.

While writing this I have to admit that I’ve been taking a short break from drawing Orbit pages to work on an Orbit related sculpture. I’ve also been sharing updates of that over on my Discord too, if you wanted to check it out. I feel its good for me to have short creative breaks from Orbit. I don’t want to burn myself out of it again. Once the unending waves of heatwaves have passed I’m sure I’ll resume working on Orbit pages again. But with my current amount of buffer pages I’ve got, I don’t feel stressed about falling behind at all.
