105: The Green Mile

Hi all,

Only 2 more pages of this interlude and then back to main story!!!! WHOHOOOO

Sorry for the delay in getting this page to you. If you’ve been keeping up with my twitter, things haven’t exactly been smooth sailing my end. My newly adopted dog needs an operation for a newly diagnosed, but pre-existing condition. The operation will set me back £3k as the insurance company wont cover it. So I’ve been desperately trying to find the money for that rather than doing my normal art administrative work, such as posting pages and things.

If you can, please support the production of Orbit: Encounter please consider buying the book from my etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/karissjonesart/ I have a discount code running at present: FREEDELIVERY This will help greatly towards the cost of my dog’s operation.

102: Small & Insignificant

Here is a page update. I am enjoying making this interlude despite it being quite a raw subject for me. As a kid I was belittled a lot for not being as academic as the majority of the class, and my dad was not the most ’emotionally stable’ when it came to parenting. I hope you are too.
It would be amazing if you could support the production of Orbit: Encounter please consider buying the book from my etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/karissjonesart/ I have a discount code running at present: FREEDELIVERY

101: Walk of Shame

Who’s that suck-up taunting Skylar? He seems like no good to me.

At times I find it quite a struggle coloring these bright environments – I definitely feel more comfortable coloring the dark pages.

094: The Experiment

First I want to thank you all for being so patient with me. The kickstarter has been a bigger time suck that I anticipated due to being held up with intrusive life events in July and August. The printed book is making good progress, and I hope to have it printed by late-January.
